The Faust Hotel originally had 62 Guest Rooms, each with a complete
private bathroom. The larger rooms have shower/tub combinations,
but the smaller rooms were equipped with steel shower compartments
- which was a novel feature in 1929. These steel compartments
have been renovated with marble showers and sinks. The paddle
fans are original items still found in each room. While each room
offers the feel of 1930s antiquity, modern amenities like air-conditioning
and cable tv w/HBO television have been added for guest comfort
and convenience.
Three rooms on the fourth floor have been converted into an Executive
Suite. It has a sitting room, a console color television, and
a marble wet bar complete with a refridgerator, microwave, and
coffee pot. The executive suite bedroom has a king sized brass
bed, a delightful antique escritoire and one full baths.
Two rooms on the third floor have been converted into a Honeymoon
Suite. The sitting room holds a Victorian love seat and matching
chair in rose colors while the bedroom has a queen sized bed,
and two full baths.
The Faust Hotel has remained dedicated to historic tradition.
While the rooms are smaller than those of a modern hotel, the
furnishings and wall decor remain true to the period of the hotel's
founding. Combined with the fantastic service and hospitality
offered by our staff, your room is sure to offer the comforts
of home, with an added touch of historical ambience.
